My Saturday


Saturday… Oh, Saturday. Errands galore. I stopped off in Savannah to grab some lunch and browse the historic district. There was a sidewalk chalk art thingy going on in Forsyth Park, which was awesome. And then Papillote was calling my name. I haven’t been there since Rocktober. Special: Duck confit pie. Yes, please. Sign me up. Then, I got home, ate it with some Leinie’s summer shandy and decided I needed MOAR BEER. Enter, Dogfish Head 90 minute imperial IPA. Oh yes. Rare as can be in these parts. But worth the $10 for a 4-pack. HAPPY WEEKEND.

It’s Friday. I’m eating ice cream, damnit.
It’s been an incredibly exhausting week… And I still have to take an exam by the end of the day! Oh, master’s degree… How you elude me so… Anyway, I NEEDED a sweet treat. It’s hot out and comfort food was totes necessary. Enter… Graeter’s. I used to live in Cincinnati during my internship back in 2009-2010. In fact, I lived down the street from the original Graeter’s ice cream shop. It only took 5 minutes to walk there from the gaslight district in Cinci :)… A dangerous living location indeed! This was the closest I could find and peppermint is my most favorite flavor.
